A Palm Springs girl who served throughout World Battle II turned 100 years outdated on Tuesday!
“At the moment I turned 100 and I do not really feel… (laughs)… a day over 21,” Sylvia Logan advised Information Channel 3.
Logan’s household stunned her with a small celebration at Dawn Park Tuesday morning.
“I assumed we have been simply going for a picnic lunch and that was it,” Logan mentioned.
The shock left Logan feeling like she was “floating on air.”
Logan met her husband, Benton “Woody” Logan throughout World Battle II as they each served within the Military. The couple received married after the conflict ended and returned to Palm Springs, the place they spend the remainder of their lives collectively.
“I used to be advised that Military marriages seldom final and ours lasted 62 years,” Logan mentioned.

Benton handed away in July 2010 on the age of 93.
