Central Coast native Martha Saulsbury turned 100-years-old on Monday.
Martha was born on Jan. 18, 1921, within the San Marcos go space between Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez, in keeping with member of the family Helen Saulsbury.
Over the weekend Martha and her household marked the centennial birthday in true pandemic trend with a zoom occasion.
Members of the family sang her glad birthday over the digital name and Martha blew out birthday cake candles saying “100”.
Martha is married to George and so they have three children collectively. In complete, Martha now has 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Martha attributes her lengthy life to being calm, contented, and glad, regardless of the circumstances.
