CANFIELD — Daniel Alan Valentine, a loving husband, father and grandfather, handed away peacefully on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2020, together with his household by his aspect after succumbing to issues from COVID-19, on the age of 62.
Daniel was born Sept. 8, 1958, in Youngstown, the son of Wilbur and Helen Valentine.
A lifelong space resident, Daniel was a 1976 graduate of Austintown Fitch Excessive Faculty. He went on to attend Youngstown State College the place he earned his Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering and a grasp’s diploma in finance.
He was employed by Republic Metal, Packard Electrical, Delphi Automotive and Aptive for 41 years, throughout which he had the honour to work alongside many revered colleagues and develop lasting friendships.
Daniel discovered pleasure in life whereas laughing with associates, competing in household recreation nights and caring for these he cherished. He can be remembered fondly for the way in which he lit up a room whereas sharing tales and telling jokes. He cherished the various friendships he shaped on the golf course and was thrilled every time he may put a smile on a good friend’s face. As an avid sports activities fan, he was by no means shy about sharing his emotions relating to his beloved Dallas Cowboys and the destiny of his fantasy sports activities groups. Daniel was a superb athlete, taking part in varsity baseball for the Youngstown State Penguins. He lovingly handed down his sporting data to his son and daughter by way of numerous video games of catch and hours of teaching.
He’s survived by his loving spouse of 38 years, Marianne Eighan Valentine; his two kids, Daniel Alan Valentine Jr. and Stephanie (Cody) Ann Cunningham; and his granddaughter, Harper Olivia Cunningham.
Daniel was preceded in demise by his dad and mom, Wilbur and Helen Valentine.
As a husband, father and good friend, Daniel was a task mannequin for his kids. The help and unfaltering perception he supplied them won’t ever be forgotten. They stay up for carrying on his legacy.
Non-public companies have been held for Daniel on Dec. 28, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, the household means that any memorial contributions be made to Beatitude Home.
The household want to specific their honest appreciation and due to Daniel’s physicians Dr. Reema Taneja and Dr. Ghazaleh Bigdeli, together with the workers at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
