Richard Lee “Dick” Cunningham, 74, of Sistersville, handed away December 22, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 10, 1946 in Lumberport, WV a son of the late David and Delberta Fox Cunningham.
Dick was a retired West Virginia State Police Trooper the place he was stationed in Pleasants, Ritchie and Marion counties. He later labored for the WV Division of Juvenile Providers. He was a 1964 graduate of Lumberport Excessive and served his nation within the U.S. Military throughout the Vietnam Period.
Dick was an avid golfer and a long-time member of the Sistersville Nation Membership. He was a founding member of the Mountaineer Sportsman’s Membership and loved journeys to the cabin, searching and fishing.
Surviving is his son Todd Cunningham and his spouse Teresa of Williamstown, stepson Michael Delancey and his spouse Karen of Fairmont, grandson Brant Delancey, brother Robert “Bob” Cunningham and his spouse Jewell of Lumberport, uncle Richard Fox of Maryland and his trustworthy companion Halle.
Along with his mother and father, he was preceded in loss of life by his spouse Jan Cunningham.
Graveside funeral companies can be at a later date on the Pike Church of Christ Cemetery with Pastor Sherman Goodwin officiating. Full navy honors can be supplied by Harris-Ritchie Publish 3554.
