Ronald Lee Rupert, 80, of Dunnstown handed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.
Born July 3, 1940 in Beech Creek Twp., he was a son of the late Joshua and Edna (Lyons) Rupert.
Ron was a 1959 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany Excessive Faculty.
Ron served within the Nationwide Guard from 1956 till 1959.
On Might 12, 1952, he married his love, the previous Lois E. Shoemaker, with who he shared 58 years of marriage.
Ron was employed for a few years at Champion Elements after which at Smith Furnishings till his retirement.
He was a lifetime member of Dunnstown Hearth Firm in addition to a member of the Clinton County Volunteer Firemen’s Affiliation and Central District Volunteer Firemen’s Affiliation.
Ron loved looking and going to camp at Rock Cabin Looking Membership, the place he was a member.
He additionally cherished the time he spent along with his household, particularly his nice grandchildren.
Along with his spouse, Lois E. Rupert, he’s survived by two kids, Michael Rupert of Bellefonte and Sandra (Greg) Crays of Lock Haven; his sister, Mary Lou (Laird) Confer of Julian; a granddaughter, Taren (Andy) Kitchen of Lock Haven; two nice grandchildren, Madison and Vaughn Kitchen; and a number of other nieces and nephews.
Alongside along with his dad and mom, he was preceded in dying by his grandson, Christopher A. Crays and a brother, Robert Rupert.
