GIRARD — Edward T. Beil, 84, handed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Born Aug. 26, 1936, in Youngstown, to Edwin and Grace Regnery Lewis (Beil), his father, Edwin, handed earlier than his delivery; he was adopted by Ralph Beil on the age of 4.
He graduated from Ursuline Excessive College in 1954 and went on to graduate from Youngstown College in 1959 with a level in electrical engineering from the Rayen Engineering College. Ed was a licensed skilled engineer.
Ed was employed by Ohio Edison for 35 years, filling many numerous roles at Ohio Edison. He retired because the Warren Division supervisor in 1994. He went on to work for the Youngstown Warren Chamber of Commerce from 1995-2003, working to carry new enterprise to the group.
Ed proudly served on many boards in the neighborhood he beloved: The Purple Cross, The United Method, Boy Scouts of America, Management Warren, The Youngstown Air Power Reserve Base Neighborhood Council and the St. Joseph Riverside Hospital Improvement Basis. Ed additionally served because the assistant director of the Trumbull County Planning Fee.
Ed officiated highschool soccer for over 25 years and was an avid Notre Dame and Youngstown State soccer fan.
