The crime department of Mumbai police has arrested a 40-year-old TV actor for allegedly dishonest individuals by posing as a police officer, primarily in Uttarakhand and Chandigarh, an official stated on Tuesday. Curiously, the accused used to journey by air to Dehradun, Chandigarh and different cities in north India to commit the crime. He then used to fly again to Mumbai, the official stated.
The accused had acted in tv serials like ”Chittorgarh ki Rajkumari Padmini”, ”Chhattrapati Raja Shivaji”, ”Savdhan India” and in films like ”Gulamkai and Bahanchor”, the official stated.
He stated unit-8 of the Mumbai crime department had acquired a selected data from the Dehradun Police in regards to the alleged involvement of the accused in dishonest an previous girl and stealing her gold ornaments value Rs 5 lakh.
A case was registered at Patel Nagar police station in Dehradun beneath numerous sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for dishonest, the official stated.
He stated the Dehradun police tracked down the accused to Oshiwara in Mumbai with technical help.
