AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — Maine’s agriculture division is including new assets about psychological well being for farmers and foresters within the state.
The Maine Division of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry stated it has added a psychological well being assets web page to its web site. The web page contains details about noticing indicators of stress and instruments for managing stress.
The creation of the web site follows a transfer by the agriculture division to work with the Maine Farm Bureau on a psychological well being mailer about recognizing warning indicators.
“We developed the webpage to make sure that farmers, forest staff, and their households have the assets they should thrive,” stated Bureau of Agriculture Director Nancy McBrady.
